Reworks and new versions of a Solarstone classic
Spearheading the release of RSEMIX (the new remixed edition of Solarstone's critical acclaimed Rain Stars Eternal album of last year) is this timely selection of new verions of 'Late Summer Fields' - one of Solarstone's most beautiful productions. At the tip of the spear is Ferry Corsten's stunning rework. Ferry is a massive fan of the original, so we were delighted when he agreed to sprinkle some of his magic dust over it.
The result is a gorgeous uplifting yet poignant new version, which is faithful to the original version but includes the best elements of Ferry's hot new sound. The Forerunners remix has been in Solarstone's CD wallet for the past 6 months, and is a massive peak time club mix, euphoric and grand in stature thanks to Brenden LeBonte's slick production values. Malta's finest exports Tenisha turned in a wicked minimal / progressive remix just as we were going to press, and Alucard himself has added a brand new chugging prog remix to the package. We've also included a couple of handy variations on the Forerunners remix and the original radio version for good measure.
